Perspectives - Tyne Valley Christian Vision for Men

We explore topical and relevant issues that connect with men's lives today from a Christian perspective.

We hope to stimulate our thinking about how to live as Christian men and to enable Christian men to successfully bridge the gap between faith and real life whether it is work, family or our pastimes and passions.

We want men of all backgrounds who have not done so before to encounter the Christian faith in a welcoming, relevant and challenging way.

Our mission is to help men develop their spiritual potential.

What do we do?

We meet on Saturday mornings - usually the last in the month - from September to November, and January to April. (We sometimes change the week to avoid clashes with school holidays.) We arrive from 8.15 for 8.30am, for a good breakfast at Vallum Tea Room (now called 'The Tea Room on the Wall'), on the Military Road (B6318) about 5 miles north-east of Corbridge. We enjoy informal conversation and then listen to an interesting speaker, with opportunity for questions.  We finish before 10am.

We want to build friendships between men from varying church backgrounds - and none - from across Tynedale. We want to share faith, ideas and life experiences; to be mutually encouraging and enable all to grow spiritually.

Please come along!

If you would like to come to any meeting (check the links above left for details of future meetings) send an email to, letting him know whether you would like a full English breakfast (£10) or a Continental breakfast (£8). Pay when you arrive.
